The Society of Hospitality and Foodservice Management recognized five members with its 2018 Directors’ Awards.

Frank LaRusso, Mars Drinks, is the recipient of the Community Service Award, given to the SHFM Member that has gone above and beyond to help support the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry, as well as their local community.

Shayla Martin, Vivreau Advanced Water Systems, is the recipient of the Spirit Award, presented to an individual who consistently demonstrates the qualities of loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm for SHFM.

Sumi DeBenedittis, PepsiCo Foodservice, is the recipient of the Leadership Award, recognizing an individual whose work on behalf of SHFM and the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry has resulted in the demonstration of outstanding leadership qualities

Bernadette Ventura, Health Care Service Corporation, is the recipient of the Richard Ysmael Distinguished Service Award, recognizing an individual who has been diligent in service to corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality and who has consistently demonstrated the ideals of dedication, integrity, professionalism and leadership.

Tracy Kelly, Weight Watchers at Work, is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing a lifetime of contributions and service to the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry.

SHFM will present its President’s Award and Pacifico Awards during the organization’s upcoming national conference Sept. 25- 27 in Fort Worth, Texas.
