... is an awesome word that we've appropriated from Bargreen Ellingson to describe the act of celebrating one's successes along the way. For David Ellingson, president and FE&S' 2017 Top Achiever — Dealer, the idea is so important that he has made it a basic tenet of the company's rich culture.

We've enjoyed our share of hoopla lately — as you can probably tell from the picture below — as we recognize the many successes and successful people across the E&S industry through our annual Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards Gala (DOY). You will see a review of the evening in pictures from the event at www.FESdealeroftheyear.com and can watch and listen to the heartfelt acceptance speeches from the winners. It is always a moving experience.

As it relates to this, our college and university issue, we had the great pleasure of awarding FE&S' 2017 Facility Design Project of the Year to The District on West Green in Boyd Hall at Ohio University. Appropriately for a food venue, that's quite a mouthful. Rich Neumann, director of culinary services at Ohio University, was on hand at our DOY event to accept the award on behalf of his team.

Rich, and several other members of the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS), receive recognition for their outstanding work in this college-and-university themed issue of FE&S. Enjoy!
