Panera to Expand Via Airports and Travel Centers

Panera Bread plans to hit the road – literally – with new locations in U.S. airports and travel centers. As part of a development deal with the fast-casual concept HMSHost will open two Panera locations in 2020, one each in Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s Concourse E and Salt Lake City International Airport’s Concourse A.

NSF Buys U.K.-based Food Safety-Related Registrar

NSF International acquired InS Services, a United Kingdom-based registrar of lubricants, greases and other nonfood compounds approved for use during food and beverage processing. Products currently registered by InS Services will be listed in the NSF White Book, the organization’s online listing of registered nonfood compounds and proprietary substances, in 2020.

Yum! Brands Appoints CEOs for Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Divisions

Yum! Brands appointed CEOs for its Taco Bell and Pizza Hut divisions, effective August 5. Mark King, former president of Adidas Group North America, will serve as CEO of the Taco Bell division and Artie Starrs was promoted to CEO from president of the Pizza Hut division.
