Cracker Barrel Dips Its Cup into Punch Bowl Social

Family dining chain Cracker Barrel has made a $140 million investment in Punch Bowl Social, a Colorado-based eatertainment concept. A portion of those funds will go toward Cracker Barrel’s purchase of private equity firm L Catterton’s stake in Punch Bowl Social. The remainder of the money will go toward financing future development for Punch Bowl Social. The agreement also includes provisions for Cracker Barrel to potentially purchase controlling or full ownership of Punch Bowl Social in the future.

BK Resources Creates Business Development Position

NACUFS Names 2019 Loyal E. Horton and Lifetime Achievement Award Winners

The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) presented the winners of its Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards to member institutions representing five different operator categories. The association also presented Art Korandanis, recently retired from College of the Holy Cross, with NACUFS’ 2019 David R. Prentkowski Distinguished Lifetime Member Award.

Alto-Shaam Adds to Northeast Territory
